An All-Weather Photographer

I’m a photographer because I’m a good photographer and I enjoy being a photographer.

Anyone can buy the equipment but you can’t buy yourself a photographer’s eye, experience and passion. I aim to take photos that are more than just a flat picture of an object or person. My aim is to take creative, innovative and professional images.

I don’t always look to find appealing aspects in my subjects but I do aim to bring out the atmosphere they convey. That’s why I’m out in all weathers, come rain or shine, because those are the pictures I want (although a few warm days would be welcome).

A Diverse Portfolio

This site is designed to show the diversity of my portfolio – subjects range from a 100,000 ton atomic powered US aircraft carrier at sea to informal portraiture, such as children’s parties

From the magic of people and their expressions, the beauty of Britain’s natural landscape or the power and majesty of a steam locomotive, steaming hard, I photograph them all.
